Allowed Activations limits the number of times an assignment can be activated. For example, a community college purchases 1000 units of a College Readiness Exam. The test "College Readiness" can be activated 1000 times.

Activation Use Cases

Use Case 1.  Store Purchase.

A product is available for purchase in the organization's store.  The organization set the allowed activations to 100. 100 individuals purchase the product. Once 100 is met, the product will be "hidden'' from the store and no longer available for purchase.

Use Case 2.  Assignment Self-Registration.

The organization requires examinee to self-register for an assessment using the organization's  custom product self-registration form. A 100 individuals can register for the assignment. If an additional individual tries to register, a message would be displayed alerting them that there are no remaining activations.

Use Case 3.   Assignment Conditions.

The organization configures the assignment conditions setting to 'assigning to everyone.'  The allowed activations is set to 100. A 100 examinees click on Start" assignment from their dashboard. The 101st examinee will not be able to see the assignment on their dashboard.

Total allowed activations and remaining is displayed in the Assignment Management Screen.
