Filters allow the user to narrow down records within a module using a specific set of criteria, as well as customize the view or columns displayed in a module.

In this video, the user will learn how to create a filter using Standard and Advanced filters.

[Create a Basic Filter]

In this video, users will learn how to apply additional related filters to narrow down a set of records based on additional record associations made.

[Create a Related Filter]

Filters are also able to be duplicated. This feature is particularly helpful if you are using the same type of criteria with minor changes frequently.

[Creating a Duplicate Filter]

**Note:

  1. Default filters can be set by either editing the filter that you wish to set a default and selecting the checkbox, or selecting 'Set as Default' from the drop down context menu.
  2. When selecting 'Assigned to' as a filtering criteria, the user must type the value as the username and not First Name Last Name to be filtered upon. The reason for this is that First Name Last Name, is not always unique (ex. each company may have several John Smiths), but username is always unique.
