Gadgets cannot be resized so that they extend outside of the dashboard's white canvas area. If more space is needed to increase the size of the gadget, try moving it towards the opposite edge of the dashboard first, or by resizing the dashboard canvasextend the canvas by clicking and dragging the gray resize bar that appears while in Edit Mode. The canvas will snap to efficiently fit the new gadget layout when Edit Mode is turned off.
