This is an additional authorization step that assignment managers may include for test takers. This allows a proctor or site admin to enter an Unlock Test key during a test, without which an examinee cannot start a test.
To activate the Unlock Test Key:
Step 1. Locate the assignment from the Assignments link
Step 2. On the Assignments Configuration page, click on the Security tab.
Step 23. Make sure Check the Require an Unlock Key to Start the Assignment box is checked and hit Save.
Step 34. The An Assignment Unlock Key is now automatically generated and available in the gray box shown on the right.
Step 5. Now, when the examinee clicks on Start when attempting the assignment, an 'Enter Test Unlock Key box will appear. The proctor/site admin then enters the key and clicks on 'Go'. The examinee can now proceed.
