The iSeek can fetch and load data hosted on the web. This enable remotely published public or private data sources to be easily added on a schedule.

How do I use this feature?

You can setup a schedule to fetch web hosted CSV files by going to Create Dataset -> Data Source(Load from URL).

What data formats are supported with web fetching?

Supercruncher supports fetching CSV files that uncompressed/plaintext or compressed by in any of the following formats 7-Zip, Zip, Rar, Tar, Lzma, Iso,HFS,GZip, Cpio, BZip2,Z ,Arj,Chm,Lhz,Cab,Nsis, Deb,Rpm, and Udf.

What Internet protocols are supported with web fetching?

Supercruncher supports fetching files via HTTP, HTTPS, FTP.

How to do a FTP or basic authentication?

Supercruncher supports the following url syntax for authentication ftp://username:password@hostname/ and https://username:password@hostname/ and http://username:password@hostname/

What security protocols are supported with web fetching?

Supercruncher supports basic http basic authentication, SSL, and username/password FTP.

What security protocols will be supported in the future?

Supercruncher plans to support sFTP, password protected ZIP, and AES Encrypt.

Can a compressed file have multi-files in the package?

Supercruncher supports fetching compresses files with multiple files in the package, however it loads only the first CSV or Text file in the package.
