This article will assist you with configuring your CounterPath Bria client for automatic provisioning.

New Installation

If this is a new install and Bria has yet to be configured

  1. Launch the Bria Client
  2. In the Profile field, Select “Enter your Configuration’s details”
  3. Type the following in the Login server field:
    1. https://maxvoice.vantageip.com/bria.php?device=$computername$
  4. Type your MAXvoice Username (email address) in the Username field
  5. Type your MAXvoice Password in the Password field
  6. Check “Remember login information”
  7. Check “Log in automatically”
  8. Click “Login”

Existing Installation/Previously Configured Client

If the Bria client has been previously configured

  1. Launch the Bria Client
  2. Click Softphone -> Account Settings
  3. Select each Account, Click “Remove” followed by “Yes”
  4. Click “OK”
  5. Click Softphone -> Preferences
  6. Check “Enable login screen”
  7. Click “OK”
  8. Click Softphone -> Exit
  9. Follow the New Users steps above

Troubleshooting

You receive “Your login server information is not correct.  Confirm the login server information and try again.  You may contact Customer Care at 611 or 1-800-493-3750”

Resolution 1: Confirm the Login Server field matches the login server information listed in the instructions.

Resolution 2: Navigate to “C:\ProgramData\CounterPath Corporation\Bria 4” and delete provisioningserver.xml.  Try again.

Resolution 3: Contact Customer Care

You receive “Your username and/or password is not correct.  Please try again or contact Customer Care at 611 or 1-800-493-3750”

Resolution 1: Confirm your username and password are correct.

Resolution 2: Contact Customer Care

You receive “The configuration for your computer could not be located.  Please contact Customer Care at 611 or 1-800-493-3750"”

Resolution 1: Your account is not associated with a device or the current computer name does not match our records.  Contact Customer Care.

You receive “There was an error with your configuration settings.  Please contact Customer Care at 611 or 1-800-493-3750”

Resolution 1: Contact Customer Care

You receive “There was an unknown error with your login information.  Please contact Customer Care at 611 or 1-800-493-3750”
