Step 1: Choosing Who to Share With

Users can share their activities created from the calendar module to other users in their view.  To accomplish this, you must first select which users you want to share your activities with from your personal settings. 

From your settings, scroll down to the Calendar Information section and find the line “Share my calendar with following users”.  When you click into “Choose…” a list of available users will be available to select.  Choose all you would like to share your activities with.

Step 2: Sharing Your Activities

Once you have selected the users you want to share your calendar with, you can start sharing your individual activities.  Sharing an activity can be done while creating a new activity or editing an existing one.  Simply check the “Share Activity” option in the “Activity Operations” section. 

After the activity is saved, the user(s) who have been shared the activity will be able to see it in their Calendar list view.

Notes:

  • Activities will not be shared by default; you must select to share each individual activity by checking the checkbox next to “Share Activity”.  If you do not wish to share an activity, do not select the “Share Activity” checkbox.
  • Users who have been shared an activity will only be able to view those activities. They cannot edit or delete shared activities.
  • If you do not see a user available when choosing users to share your calendar with, contact your site administrator.
