Email Tracking

AMPED allows you to track the view count of your email activities with the Tracks Access Count feature. You can toggle this feature in the following ways:

Composing an email from the Messages Module

If you are composing an email from the message’s module, click on the blue “Compose Email” button. At the bottom left-hand corner of the window, there is an icon that looks like an eye. This icon is the Tracks Access Count toggle. Clicking on this eye will toggle the feature on/off.

In the screenshot below, tracking is turned on.

Selecting the icon again will turn the tracking off.

Composing an Email from a Record Profile

If you are composing an email from a lead or contact record, click on the email button in the record’s header. A “Select Email IDs” window will appear. By default, the record’s primary email is checked off as well as the Tracks Access Count feature. Here, you can toggle the tracking feature on/off and then click Select to continue.

If you select not to track your access count in the “Select Email IDs” window and want to turn it back on in the compose window before sending the email, click on the icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the “Compose Email” window.

Composing an Email to Multiple Records

If you are sending an email to multiple records – like in a campaign – select the records that you want to send the email out. Click on Select Action > Send Email. A “Select Email IDs (Multiple Contacts)” window will appear. By default, the record’s primary email is checked off as well as the Tracks Access Count feature.

If you select not to track your access count in the “Select Email IDs (Multiple Contacts)” window and want to turn it back on in the compose window before sending the email, click on the icon in the bottom left-hand corner of the “Compose Email” window.

What if I want my Email to be tracked after Sending it?

Emails that are sent without the track access feature turned on will not be trackable later. However, you can track future replies and forwards. When you reply, reply all, or forward, click on the eye in the bottom left-hand corner of the compose window to toggle the feature on/off.
