Build is a cloud based item banking, test management, and psychometrics platform. 


User Types

Administrator

Access to all Build tools within the organization

  • Create bank admins. The organization admin can create another bank admins. This admin would NOT view any other items without other item banks being shared to this individual. The admin can view tests created by other admins within the organization.
  • Create users.  Users must be associated with a role (bank author, viewer or admin) Users can view reports (item analysis) report for assessments delivered by this organization. Users  can be assigned to bank permissions.

Administrator

  • Bank Management. Create, Edit, Assign  Permissions (author, admin, viewer)
  • Create Users (admin or a user)
  • Manage blueprints (create, edit, delete)

  • Test Management (create tests, practice tests, surveys, assign permissions, publish)

Getting Started

Logging in is similar for all user types. Administrators and Users follow the same steps to log in correctly:

  1. Go to: https://build.adaptera.com to access the Login Page. 
  2. Type in your Username and Password in the designated boxes (This information is provided by an Administrator)
  3. Click ‘Sign In’ to proceed to the Build Home Page.

Administrators

An important task of administrators is to create users who are able to build customizable tests.

Adding a User to Build

  1. Click Create and select User. 
    Alternatively, choose Manage Users from the User Management (top right of page) and click on the Add New User button at the top of the page that follows.
  2. On the next page, fill in the User Name field with a unique login name to be assigned to the new user. When a correct username has been entered, click continue.
  3. Complete the fields with the required information (Fields marked with an * are mandatory) and Save to complete. Clicking on Cancel will redirect you to the User Management page

Manage User(s):

Click on theImage Addedicon next to the user to edit details such as name, email, change password, and update role.
