Buid is a cloud based item banking, test management, and psychometrics platform. 


User Types

Type
Administrator

Access to all Build tools within the organization

  • Create bank admins. The organization admin can create another bank admins. This admin would NOT view any other items without other item banks being shared to this individual. The admin can view tests created by other admins within the organization.
  • Create users.  Users must be associated with a role (bank author, viewer or admin) Users can view reports (item analysis) report for assessments delivered by this organization. Users  can be assigned to bank permissions.
UserHas access to banks and content, based upon permissions assigned to them

Administrator

  • Bank Management. Create, Edit, Assign  Permissions (author, admin, viewer)
  • Create Users (admin or a user)
  • Manage blueprints (create, edit, delete)
  • Add Score Lookup Tables
  • Manage items (author, edit, add/view comments, preview)
  • Test Management (create tests, practice tests, surveys, assign permissions, publish)
  • Pathways Management (create, edit, assign)
  • Manage standards templates
  • Preview available content (items, tests, pathways-if permitted) and access reports.
  • Create and manage bank(s)
  • Assign bank user permissions
  • Create and manage items (write/read comments, inactivate items…)
  • Build tests from the bank (permission  needed)
  • Assign test permissions
  • Preview and clone tests build from items within the bank
  • View item reports (inventory, item analysis..)

Getting Started

Logging in is similar for all user types. Administrators and Users, will follow the same steps to log in correctly.

  1. Go to: https://build.adaptera.com to access the Login Page. 
  2. Type in your Username and Password in the designated boxes (This information is provided by an Administrator)
  3. Click ‘Sign In’ to proceed to the Build Home Page.

Administrators

One important task of administrators is to create users who are able to build efficient tests.

To add new user:

This will take you to the

  1. Enter name in the ‘User Name’ field. This is the unique login name assigned to a user. When a correct username has been entered, click continue.
  2. Complete the fields with the required information (Fields marked with an * are mandatory):
