After creating a campaign and adding recipients for your communications (Leads or Contacts), you are ready to start communicating. Will you be communicating using Mass Email? Or SMS? Communicating using Mass email or SMS will create and relate an activity record to the recipient record and the campaign record for tracking.
Mass Email
If you are communicating via email, make sure that you have configured your email outgoing server settings.

Notes:
- This process is repeatable using contact records. Simply scroll a little further down the Campaign page to access Mass Emailing capabilities for your contact records.
- You may need to check with your email service provider on ability to mass email from your email platform. It is recommended with most email providers that you 'chunk' your email batches - recipients in a blast is determined by email provider. Typically we recommend keeping each blast under 5000 unless your email provider states otherwise.
Broadcast SMS
If you have not elected the SMS service as an add-on, but would like to, please contact 866.353.8357 and select option 4. Vantage CRM and MAXcustomerconnect allow you to SMS a large number of recipients for marketing purposes. SMS is outbound only, replies are not recorded within the application.

Call Lists
The campaigns module can also be used to maintain and track successes of a call list. Simply add the desired filter of records you would like to call in the Leads or Contacts section. Exposed columns are available for sorting, and pagination features allow for the user to sort through the list as needed.
